Two days before the Festival of Lights will end it show at the Ayala Makati Triangle my family went there and watched the show. The Festiva of lights has been showcased in Makati for five years now and which has been shown only during Christmas season until New Year. For some reasons we were not able to see the last two years shows and since it opened in December we already had plans to bring the kids there, and there was one weekend in December that were on our way there, but due to heavy traffic, which was brought about by splurge of people in malls for Christmas shopping. And for people who knew Manila during the Christmas season, they definitely knew how bad the traffic situation there is during this holiday. And one more thing the weather seems not coordinating with us, as it was drizzling when we’re at C5 road, the kids might get sick if we still insist of proceeding in Makati since the location is an open area, so we diverted our itinerary for that day. Until last Friday, January 2 when it was still a holiday, it was traffic free all the way to Makati.

2014 has ended and I must say that last year for me was lesser adventure and I didn’t focus much on updating my blog, that is because I was pressed to attend to my regular work and family matters, plus I got pregnant again for the fourth time which also limits me to travel far and often as we had to set aside some expenses for my pregnancy.

After the two events that I had attended, this time I tried attending a food tasting event, and it was a foodie meet-up organized by Zomato and Taco Bell wherein I am one of the lucky thirty bloggers who got invited to taste and review Taco Bell’s newest addition to their famous burritos – TACO BELL MEATY GRILLERS, it has layers of meat and other flavorful ingredients all wrapped in a tortilla and grilled which is good enough for lunch or dinner as it is heavy in the stomach.

MANILA – Storytelling is an age-old tradition of the world. It has been practiced to pass on information, make sense of experiences, and understand one another. It has the power to immortalize individuals and events, incite ideas and action, and bring people together. It is in the spirit of this powerfully unifying practice that Hero Of D Day and CSR World bring to you Share a Story, Save the World: A Volunteers’ Meet-up.
